World Veterinary Day is one day of the year completely dedicated to the lovely people that decided to dedicate their lives to the love, health, and well-being of the animals on this planet. The aim of the World Veterinary Day is to promote the veterinary profession and work on improvement of the animal and human welfare, the environment, food safety, and practices of animal transport and quarantine. Each year, there is a different theme of this day.
The WVA created World Veterinary Day in 2000 as an annual celebration of the veterinary profession, taking place on the last Saturday of April
